SR-C Treatment -- Surface Processing to Suppress Powder Adhesion

New product ideas

Today, let's talk about TWC's SR-C Treatment, an effective surface processing technique for conveying or sieving dry powders or small products ("workpieces") in hoppers, vibrating screens, or other devices.

By modifying the surface of the base material (such as a metal sheet-processed product or wire cloth product) that comes into contact with a workpiece, we can ensure the following advantages.
1. Hardened surface for increased strength (Improves fatigue strength, wear resistance, and stress corrosion and cracking resistance)
2. Prevention of adhesion of workpieces to base material (Ensures workpieces flow smoothly to secondary side by suppression adhesion)

SR-C Treatment involves first spraying special particles onto the surface of the base material in contact with the workpiece to form extremely fine irregularities (microdimples).

This treatment also results in greater adhesion control, sliding, and surface hardness, helping products to meet any performance and improvement requirements.

Because products are provided with customized specifications, we first estimate the effectiveness using SR-C-treated SUS plates or similar products before processing the actual product.
