Specialized processing technologies are an important part of our core technologies, including the diffusion bonding technique that uses multiple etched metal plates. We also utilize large-scale tank manufacturing with special materials such as high-nickel and Inconel to produce items such as muffles for heat treatment furnaces.
Diffusion bonding
Diffusion bonding is a method of joining metal components by stacking them, then heating (under conditions below the melting point of the parent material) and applying pressure, which allows for atomic migration between the components to create the bond. By stacking etched thin plates, it is possible to create openings with high aspect ratios.
